How the turntables...

After a long 1500 years being the lowly and "disposable" pieces, the pawns have reversed their situation.

Now, the aristocracy that enjoyed the safety of staying behind for so long is forced to be in the first line of attack.

However, war is not over. 

Protect your pawns and capture the pawns from your opponent to win!

Instructions: 

- Press 'r' to restart the match

- Capture all the opponents pawns to win

- When only pawns remain, the player with the most will win!

This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2023.

How does the game fit the theme?

The roles of the chesspieces in a board are reversed. The "valuable" pieces now protect the "expendable" ones.
